With the Wizkid project done, and the Skales project underway, Banky W returns with some new material. The EME frontman has released two new singles, first up 'Setting P', an uptempo take on a club song about *ahem* "setting P'.
Since the majority of Nigeria's savvy youth caught the twitter bug, the social network site has spawned its own vocabulary, one of its words being "Setting P", meaning conversation or actions leading towards an often clandestine sexual liaison. In our opinion, Banky could release a song about that or any other sexual topic, but when he does it without his trademark cool, he tends to lose points.
'Setting P', like 'Tanker' on his last album, 'W Experience', makes Banky sound more Ray J than R. Kelly; and though the song itself, produced by Kraft, is not bad, it just seems like its not really Mr Wellington's style.
