Adele laughs off reports she is planning five-year break from music
The Grammy winner rubbishes talk of a music hiatus
Adele has laughed off a remark to US Vogue that she intended to take a five-year break from music. The singer wrote in a blog: "I've a few days off now, and then it's the Brit awards here at home and then I'm straight into the studio. BOYYAHH! Five years? More like five days."

She said she kept having flashbacks to her triumphant night at the Grammys, where she won six awards, and was still trying to come to terms with her success. "In between laughing my head off, welling up, needing to sit down … The most incredible night of my life. Thank you to you all, I am so overwhelmed, it's the strangest feeling. I have constant butterflies and goosebumps, it's wearing me out but I love it.

"I've been sleeping a lot but the minute I wake up I burst out laughing and it starts all over again."
